ILUKA RESOURCES is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the exploration, project management, operations and marketing of zircon and titanium based products.  With a corporate support centre in Perth, we also have activities in regional Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, USA and Sierra Leone.


An opportunity exists for a proactive and driven Electrical Coordinator to join the Maintenance Team at our Mineral Separation Plant in Geraldton. This ‘hands on’ role is responsible for ensuring the team of electrical trades people achieves equipment availability targets by establishing and working within maintenance schedules, down time and spare parts requirements whilst providing support, leadership, coaching and coordination to site personnel to ensure maintenance is effective and efficient.


Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent this role is pivotal in leading the Electrical Team in the safe execution of maintenance activities to optimize plant availability.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An electrical trade background with previous supervision experience including a current WA Electricians licence
  • Previous experience in High Voltage transmission and distribution
  • Knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to mining environment
  • Proven leadership of teams and focus to improve plant reliability
  • Ability to communicate effectively and engage key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems including SAP or equivalent CMMS

This residential position based in Geraldton will work primarily on a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday.
