ILUKA RESOURCES is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the exploration, project management, operations and marketing of zircon and titanium based products. With a corporate support centre in Perth, we also have activities in regional Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, USA and Sierra Leone.

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and motivated Diesel Technician at our Jacinth-Ambrosia operation. The position is offered as a full time permanent position, based at the J-A mine site, working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster arrangement, fly in / fly out from Adelaide or Ceduna. Full camp facilities and flights from Adelaide (or Ceduna) are provided.

The position will report to the Maintenance Coordinator and will be responsible for the maintenance of a fleet of vehicles and flexibility to aid in the maintenance of fixed plant while adhering to established Iluka standards, including safety and environmental procedures.

To be considered for this role applicants must possess the following skills and values:

 Certified Diesel trade qualification;

 Demonstrate an understanding of preventative maintenance concepts relevant to:

o Toyota 4x4;

o bobcat/skid steer;

o Small to medium CAT SME;

o Small to medium Volvo SME;

o Sykes pumps and lighting towers;

 Display a professional attitude;

 Valid C Class Drivers Licence.

The individual ultimately employed in the role will be a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills who possesses the ability to clearly articulate maintenance issues and recommend solutions. Applicants with licenses to carry out High Risk Work along with a Senior First Aid Certificate will be highly regarded. Experience in the use of SAP would be considered an advantage.
