Purchasing Support Officer – 12 Months Fixed Term

ILUKA RESOURCES is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the exploration, project management, operations and marketing of zircon and titanium based products.  With a corporate support centre in Perth, we also have activities in regional Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, USA and Sierra Leone.

Reporting to the Purchasing & Inventory Manager, the role of the Purchasing Support Officer is accountable for providing support to Iluka employees and the Iluka Procurement team and in a broad range of Purchase to Pay (PTP) tasks. 

Key accountabilities include;

  •  SAP requisition creation and service entry management;
  • SAP purchase order creation;
  • purchasing analysis and reporting;
  • assisting with credit card expense management administration, when required; and
  • general administration support for the Procurement group in Perth.

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • relevant experience within a similar role;
  • knowledge of Purchasing and PTP processes;
  • excellent written and verbal communication;
  • strong time management and attention to detail; and
  • advance knowledge of MS Office Suite applications
