Iluka’s Mineral Resource and Ore reserve position is presented in an announcement  “Updated Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Statement” released by the ASX on the 21 February 2017 and is available on Iluka’s website here. Adjustments to this position are documented in Iluka’s 2017 Annual report. Iluka confirms that it is not aware of any new information or data that materially affects the information included in the original market announcement and, in the case of estimates of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves, that all material assumptions and technical parameters underpinning the estimates in the relevant market announcement continues to apply an have not materially changed. The company confirms that the form and context in which the Competent Persons findings are presented have not materially modified from the original market announcement.

The Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources for the Sierra Leone rutile deposits are reported separately as there is insufficient information to state the assemblage in terms of a portion of the heavy mineral (HM) content which is traditionally done in reporting heavy minerals. Historical data focused on the in situ rutile content which is honoured in the reporting of Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources for Sierra Leone.
